Grantmakers In Health (GIH) is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to helping foundations and corporate giving programs improve the health of all people. Its mission is to foster communication and collaboration among grantmakers and others, and to help strengthen the grantmaking community's knowledge, skills, and effectiveness.
GIH is known today as the professional home for health grantmakers, and a resource for grantmakers and others seeking expertise and information on the field of health philanthropy. GIH generates and disseminates information about health issues and grantmaking strategies that work in health by offering issue-focused forums, workshops, and large annual meetings; publications; continuing education and training; technical assistance; consultation on programmatic and operational issues; and by conducting studies of health philanthropy.
The GIH Annual Conference is the largest convening of health philanthrophy professionals in the United States. Each year, GIH brings together health philanthrophy thought leaders from throughout the United States to share ideas, learn from experts in the field, collaborate and network on critical issues effecting the field of health philanthrophy.
Our special event management experience includes large scale events including non-profit fundraising galas, formal corporate parties, concerts, festivals, 5K runs, and unique out of the box requests.
Our experience in conference management ranges from planning for 18,000 over several days to 300 for a one-day symposium.
